Managing Director
Founder and Managing Director – India Home Health Care (IHHC). Serial entrepreneur and promoter in the fields of Technology, Health care and Consumer business on the Internet. Over the years, VT has been successful in creating technology companies in the internet of things (IoT), consumer internet, e-commerce, software development services and retail.
VT, as he is called by family, friends and colleagues, started an exciting and full filling journey by creating IHHC, India’s first institutionalized home health care service, delivering quality health care for people in the comfort of their homes. He has been successful in putting together a professional, highly qualified and well-knit team from Germany and India – satisfying the inherent requirements of the health care business in terms of operations, training and quality.
VT gained valuable experience, and quickly understood, the modalities that governed the selection and retention of the best employees, satisfied customers and points of influence. He quickly put this learning to course correct the business model, and in two years he scaled up the company to impressive heights. He also got U.S. home health care major Bayada Home Health Care to partner with IHHC in 2013, thus laying the groundwork for building a reputed and recognized health care institution in India.
J. Mark Baiada founded BAYADA Home Health Care in 1975 with the mission and goal of helping people receive health care at home with comfort, independence, and dignity. More than three decades later, BAYADA has grown from its humble beginnings to become a national leader in home health care, serving clients in 25 states from more than 250 offices. As Mark Baiada says, “We recognize the trust our clients place in us every time BAYADA enters their homes, and we understand nothing is more important than their safety and well-being. We provide the highest quality care in the home spanning every age group and level of care: from pediatrics to geriatrics, and from critical care to just being there.”
Mark received his MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Business in 1970 and his BA from Rutgers College in 1969. Prior to founding BAYADA, he was a market researcher for Avon Products, New York, NY and the American Thread Company, Stamford, CT.
