Our specialist orthopaedic care team can help to manage the patient’s pain, improve stability, strengthen muscles and maintain balance and movement. Our in-home orthopaedic patient care services include personalized care depending on individual needs and as per the attending surgeon’s protocols. We also provide qualified physiotherapists who help the patient during the recovery and rehabilitation process through physiotherapy treatment that suits their needs the best.

Services Offered

IHHC’s Orthopaedic care program focuses on care management of pre- and post-surgical Orthopaedic patients. The program provides comprehensive physical therapy, occupational therapy and nursing as per the protocols decided by the patient’s physician. The service packages offered include:

• 12-24 hours of Nursing support with nurses who have a minimum of 2 years experience
• 12-24 hours of Medical Care Taker support
• Visits by physiotherapist
• Nutritional Counselling
• Medical Equipment
• Consumables (paid for by the patient) - when available

Tasks Covered:

In addition to continuous monitoring of vitals, maintaining the highest standards of hygienic care and administration of medication and assistance with daily living activities, our team can also handle the following tasks as well, as per the treating surgeon’s directive and the care plan previously decided upon.

• Wound Care and infection prevention
• Pain Management
• Physical therapy for return of range of Motion and muscle strengthening
• Monitoring of Blood Coagulation Therapies

Our Orthopaedic care program also includes Fall Prevention, Home Environment Safety Assessment and Home Modification, if required, for the elderly patients
